“Blind Logic: The Ralph R. Teetor Story” sponsored by Chautauqua-Wawasee and the Syracuse Historical Museum chronicles the inspirational life of Ralph R. Teetor, a blind American visionary and automotive pioneer who overcame unthinkable odds to leave a lasting impact on the automotive industry. His inventions, including an automatic gearshift and Cruise Control, are now commonplace. This is a free program.

Throughout the summer there are multiple opportunities to gather for a Wednesday night Plein Air Gatherings with Dave Broerman. These are free to attend and limited art supplies are available.

Since its founding in 2023, the Visions Jazz Ensemble—led by Indiana University alumni Sam Butler and Garrett Fasig—has been dedicated to delivering fresh, modern interpretations of both original compositions and timeless jazz standards. Their new album, “Of the People” presents a new musical identity for the Visions Jazz Ensemble, featuring acclaimed vocalist April Varner. Of The People presents an eclectic and gorgeously reimagined array of spirituals, country and folk pop songs, traditionals, and straight-up odes to the U.S.A. to celebrate 250 years of American music.

Guitarist Mike Lorenz returns in 2026 with I’m Not There, his first trio record under his own name since 2018 and his debut release on the Philadelphia-based label Each & Only. Recorded with longtime collaborators Sandy Eldred and Matt Scarano, the album captures a shift toward intimacy and directness, foregrounding acoustic guitar, melody, and collective interplay. Written over several years of personal and artistic change, I’m Not There unfolds like a songwriter’s record played by improvising musicians, balancing vulnerability with clarity and intention.

Meet a naturalist in the White Barn parking lot for a birding and nature hike while summer is in full swing! We will explore part of the park, observing the plants and birds we encounter. No birding experience necessary but bring binoculars if you have them. We will have loaners as well. Registration and payment due by Thursday, July 30.

Saturday Morning Cartoons return to Goshen Theater on August 1, 2026, from 9AM-12PM.

We will be showing cartoons from the 1990’s on the big screen in the Miller Auditorium for FREE! Come for one or stay all morning.
